Brianna Mercado

Hello! I’m Brianna Mercado. I’m a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and coach working and living in New York City.

I earned my B.A. in Dance & Performance Studies and Social Welfare from the University of California Berkeley, and I am currently working on earning a M.S. degree in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University. As a two-time cancer survivor, I consider myself an expert in the art of optimism and resiliency. I plan to use this one wild and precious life to create powerful art, dance many dances, decrease World Suck Levels, and empower people to live a life they love.

Most recently, I choreographed the U.S. Premier of It Happened At Key West at The Fulton Theatre. I am currently seeking future performance and choreography work. I teach weekly dance classes at Peridance, Broadway Dance Center, and CAP21/Molloy University in New York City.

My dream is to always be involved with work that uplifts and inspires the world for future generations. Thank you for coming to see what I am up to. May our paths cross soon.

love and light,

Bri
